Michelle Tysinger

In her capacity as the Executive Assistant to the CEO, Michelle Tysinger brings over a decade of experience in program management and development for underprivileged communities on the Treasure Coast. Michelle has a bachelor’s degree in business management and a rich background in community outreach, family engagement, and victim advocacy. Her expertise lies in forging strong partnerships with individuals and organizations to bolster underserved communities.

Two decades ago, Michelle and her family decided to relocate to Martin County. Her daughters, who completed their education in Martin County schools, were not just students but active participants in the YMCA’s volleyball program during their school years. The Y became more than just a place for them to play; it became a foundation for their future success. One of her daughters, now a successful volleyball coach at her Middle School, attributes her achievements to the fundamental skills and love for the game she learned at the Y as a child. Her other daughter, who worked as a lifeguard and participated in the Youth and Government (YIG) program at the Y, found her passion and eventually built her career around Social Services, working with the Y Alliance and Florida State Government.

Michelle says, “I’m really grateful for the positive impact the YMCA has had on my family’s life. I’m excited to be part of a team that makes a difference in the lives of other families throughout our community in similar ways.”
