The Y had another successful Healthy Kids Day at all three of our branches (Stuart, Indiantown, and Port St. Lucie)! Kids enjoyed many fun activities including fitness and first responder demonstrations, DJ Music, Face Painting, Fairy Hair, Glitter Tattoos, Balloon Animals, Arts & Crafts, Kona Ice, Free Food, Free Books, Contests and so much more!
We were honored to have Glenn Dempsey from the Catsman Foundation cut the ribbon for the Grand Re-Opening of our pool in Indiantown! We gave out over 100 swimsuits, goggles, swim caps, swim diapers, pool toys and more to the children of Indiantown to enjoy in our pool this summer, thanks to the generosity of our community! We also unveiled our new Outdoor Fitness Circle that is now open to the public and all ages in Indiantown!
