How to Apply for Free or Discounted Swim Lessons:
- Florida Department of Health Voucher: The Florida Department of Health offers free swim lesson vouchers for children ages 4 years and younger (at the time of application) with proof of Florida residency and gross family income of no more than 200% of the federal poverty guidelines. Visit watersmartfl.com to apply.
- S.P.L.A.S.H. program: The Children’s Services Council of Martin County provides free swimming lessons for economically disadvantaged MARTIN COUNTY children between the ages of 6 months and 17 years of age. To qualify, Parent or Guardian must supply proof of residency in Martin County and income verification (i.e. proof of SNAP, Medicaid or free or reduced cost lunch eligibility.) Please visit our front desk to apply and register.
- Health Insurance: Sunshine Health offers a swimming and water safety lesson benefit that will cover one session of group swim lessons (includes 6-8 lessons) per child per voucher. To enroll, call their member services at 1-866-796-0530, enrollment is on a first-come, first-served basis. Once approved bring your authorization letter to our front desk to register for swim lessons.
- YMCA Scholarship Fund: Our Y gives annual scholarships to provide all children and families in our community access to our programs and services regardless of their economic circumstances, click here to learn more and apply.
