Essential Functions:

Manages, directs, and coordinates the school age childcare programs for assigned location. Assists with developing, managing, and controlling budgets related to the position. Ensures program operates within budget and that program fees are collected. Develops and maintains relationships with state childcare licensing agency, school administration, parent groups and other organizations and agencies related to assigned programs. Responds to all agency, parent and community inquiries and complaints in a timely manner. Organizes special events for parents. Assists in YMCA fund raising activities. Recruits, trains, and supervises staff.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent education and experience. One to two years’ experience as a coordinator or supervisor of childcare programs preferred. Ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people from all social and economic segments of the community. CPR/FA/AED certifications and DCF 45 hours.

Pay Range $17 – $19 per hour

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Increase and retain youth and family engagement across all YMCA programs, services, and locations.
• Assist in the marketing and distribution of program information internally and externally.
• Elevate the YMCA member experience through the incorporation of quality youth and family programs and services into existing YMCA programs and services.
• Compile program statistics.  Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of and participation in programs. 
• Develop and monitor program budgets to meet fiscal objectives.
• Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with colleagues and the community, inside and outside the YMCA.
• Assure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations as they relate to program areas, including ADA accommodations where appropriate.
• Ensure that YMCA program standards are met, and safety procedures are followed.
• Recruit, hire, train, develop, schedule and direct personnel and volunteers as needed to maintain program quality; review and evaluate staff performance; develop strategies to motivate staff and achieve goals.
• Grow existing and develop new strategic partnerships, sponsorships, and/or fund-raising campaigns to support program goals and objectives.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in human development, education, psychology, or a closely related field is required.
• At least two years of experience in the education, non-profit, and/or community agency industries, preferably supervising people, is required.
• Ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people from all social and economic segments of the community.
• Completion of all YMCA required trainings including CPR with AED and First Aid.

Salary: $50k – $55k/annually

Job Description:

Wellness Floor Staff greet members by name and are sociable and approachable. They take initiative to develop professional relationships with members so that they feel welcome and encourage them to participate in group exercise classes as well as other YMCA programs. They are responsible for maintaining a clean fitness floor by wiping down equipment, dusting, and vacuuming as needed.

$13.00 per hour / Part-time (opportunity for flexibility since YMCA is open 7 days a week)

Requirements:

General knowledge of anatomy and physiology.  Minimum of one year experience in a fitness facility preferred.  Current Adult CPR certification.

Excellent customer service skills and ability to interact with all levels of the general public, members, staff and management.

Essential Functions: Develop, implement, and instruct a variety of personal training and group training sessions for YMCA clients. Build effective, authentic relationships with members and clients. Help program participants connect with each other and the YMCA. Promote and sell personal training packages and services while achieving monthly revenue and session goals. Maintain working knowledge of wellness trends to provide effective information and support to members. Help maintain a neat, clean, safe, and pleasant environment on the Wellness floor. Attend continuing education and mandatory trainings. Keep accurate records of scheduled, re-scheduled and cancelled appointments.

Qualifications: Minimum six months of experience in fitness instruction and/or personal training preferred. Personal Training Certification (ACE, NETA, AFAA, NASM) required. Current CPR/AED/FA and certification in area of expertise is required. Open Availability preferred. 

Pay:  $15.00/hr.

We are looking for energetic and enthusiastic VPK Teachers to join our Stuart preschool!

2023-2024 school year begins mid-July

Requirements:

Applicants must be a credentialed VPK teacher and have current Pediatric CPR & First Aid certification. An associates degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or Child Development is preferred.  Must have experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.  CDA credential is required. 

Responsibilities:

The VPK teacher implements curriculum within the established guidelines. Supervises the children, classroom, and all activities.  Makes ongoing systemic observations and evaluations of each child and cultivates positive relationships with parents.  Attends and participates in program activities, staff meetings, and staff training.  Applicants should be available Monday through Friday, 6:30am-6pm.

Full-time $18-$19 per hour

Skills:

Position Summary: This position supports the work of the Y by delivering Holyoake DRUMBEAT curriculum and instruction to youth at assigned locations.

Essential Functions:  Remain current in Holyoake DRUMBEAT program through in person and virtual training sessions. Follow and deliver DRUMBEAT curriculum within established guidelines.  

Program Specific Duties:  Represent the YMCA in a professional and positive manner in the community.  Cultivate positive relationships and maintain effective communication with YMCA and its community partners.  Make ongoing, systematic observations, evaluations, and assessments of each child. Nurture children through purposeful programming dedicated to building empathy and belonging in youth and their relationships with peers and adults. 

To teach yoga / water aerobics classes. 

Pay Rate: $20 – $25 per class for Group Exercise , $25-$30 per class for Pilates Reformer

Must have experience working with young children, has or working towards required 45-hour DCF training, CPR & FA Certified and flexible schedule.
