Kirstin McIntyre
Kirstin is a former professional athlete turned driven, people-focused leader with a passion for growth and team development. Originally from New York, she played college basketball in Florida before competing professionally in Germany. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Mass Communication and Broadcast Journalism from Florida Southern College and later completed her Master’s in Sport and Facility Management from Saint Leo University.
Before joining the Y, Kirstin spent five years with a growing fitness gym, working her way up from Assistant General Manager to District Manager. She started with that company with only three locations and helped grow that brand to over 28 location in just 4 years. She oversaw four locations across South Florida—from West Palm to Fort Lauderdale—leading operations, developing teams, and driving performance. Kirstin brings energy, discipline, and a team-first mindset to everything she does.
